Health and Wellbeing Strategy


Enfield has a health and wellbeing strategy designed to ensure that children and young people have the best start in life regardless of where they live in Enfield. Priority areas have been identified and it is for these areas that the available funding will be allocated. The following are the priorities:

  • Crisis intervention
  • Training and mentorship for A&E Liaison nurses who currently work with adults
  • Waiting list initiative
  • Backfill to support service development
  • Additional backfill for IAPT training
  • Scan/Neurodevelopmental
  • Enfield Parent and Infant Project (EPIP)
  • Data Manager
  • IT Infrastructure
  • Apps and website redesign
  • CYP IAPT roll out to the voluntary sector
  • DE stigmatization campaign
  • Peer support and engagement
  • Training
  • Volunteer sector capacity development
  • Provider Forum
  • Child sexual abuse and exploitation
  • Assistant Psychologist to support service audits on DNAs etc
  • JSNA/pathway/access work on vulnerable children
  • Training needs/support analysis in primary care
